Appearance
The chat carries your brand, not ours: your name, icon, colours and words, in your visitors’ own system font.
Content
- Display name and Agent icon: your initials, a drawn mark, your website’s own icon or a logo you upload.
- Initial message: the greeting at the top of a new chat.
- Conversation starters: up to five questions visitors can tap instead of typing.
- Message placeholder and the Question bar wording.
- Footer: a short line under the chat. On Free and Starter it also shows “Powered by Hazelchat”.
Style
- Theme: light or dark.
- Accent color: the bubble, buttons and visitor messages. Hazelchat suggests the colour your website declares and picks readable text on it.
- Corners: square, soft or round.
- Floating bubble position: left or right.
- Chat window: in the corner beside the bubble, or centered over the page. On phones the chat always opens full screen. Webflow sites use the corner.
Like all changes, appearance goes live when you publish.
